Key Typology

This typology focuses on various keys that I have found and documented over time. I am drawn to keys not only for their formal qualities such as their unique shapes, textures, and materials, but also for the emotional weight they can carry. This study ultimately delves into the idea that everyday objects can carry deep personal and emotional significance. By documenting a range of keys, varying in shape, wear, material, and origin, I highlight how each one tells a story beyond its practical function. Through this body of work, I hope to encourage viewers to reconsider the objects they interact with daily and to recognize the hidden narratives within them.
