These skates explore the relationship between nostalgia and personal growth. While they’re awkward to use and resist smooth motion, they still work which is a reflection of how moving forward in life often feels uncertain and unsteady.

Roller skating has always been deeply meaningful to me. It was something I shared with my mom growing up and that connection continues to this day, as skating remains a part of my life. By sculpting skates that challenge balance and ease, I mirror the complexities of holding onto memory while still progressing.
